WELCOME to our club's Signature Project

ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY EDUCATION

This signature project is an alignment of camaraderie of Kiwanis club members and media professionals improving Entertainment Industry knowledge through education, mentorship, and financial support.

RECOGNITION

We are proud to be recognized by the Mayor of Los Angeles for our Signature Project and Arts Education Programs.  Eric Garcetti, Mayor of Los Angeles, discusses the importance of arts education and thanks our club for the work we have accomplished with these projects.

ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY CAREER MARKETPLACE

The Kiwanis Entertainment Industry Group - Los Angeles, based in Studio City, sponsors the "Entertainment Industry Career Marketplace" at CBS Studio Center in Studio City.  The students are mainly seniors from local Colleges with majors in Music Industry Studies, Animation and Cinema-TV Arts.

ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY EDUCATION FIELD TRIPS

Our club has sponsored Entertainment Industry Education field trips for our local schools.  In the below video, we sponsored a field trip for the entire 5th grade class at Dixie Canyon Ave Elementary School, Sherman Oaks, CA.  the field trip was to the Valley Performing Arts Center at California State University Northridge for a matinee performance of the Shanghai Ballet: Butterfly Lovers.  We also arranged for CSUN faculty to present Pre and Post Performance workshops at Dixie Canyon Ave. Eleme
